Two gems. Two complete equipment sets.

Grims Gem Equipment brings full emerald and amethyst gear sets to Paper servers running Geyser. Java and Bedrock players can craft, equip, enchant, repair, and use the same equipment without either side receiving a stripped-down version.

Emerald and amethyst equipment share the same gameplay statistics, so players can choose the material and look they prefer without choosing between style and strength.

What is included

  • Complete emerald and amethyst armor sets.
  • Pickaxes, axes, shovels, and hoes for both materials.
  • Emerald and amethyst swords.
  • Two new charge-capable spears.
  • Familiar crafting recipes based on vanilla equipment shapes.
  • Normal anvil repairs, Unbreaking, Mending, and compatible vanilla enchantments.

Built to sit between iron and diamond

A full gem armor set provides 18 armor points and 4 toughness, placing it neatly between iron and diamond. The tools mine faster than iron while retaining the iron harvest tier, and every tool and weapon has 900 durability.

That means gem pickaxes can harvest diamond ore, but they do not replace diamond equipment for obsidian or ancient debris. The goal is a useful progression option—not another set that makes everything before or after it pointless.

Familiar gear with a little EGW weirdness

Most recipes follow the shapes players already know. Emerald gear uses emeralds, amethyst gear uses amethyst shards, and tools use ordinary sticks.

The spears are the exception worth showing off. Their normal jab has a predictable attack value, while charged damage responds to movement. They bring something new to the equipment lineup without abandoning familiar Minecraft combat.

Full statistics, recipes, comparisons, and repair information are available in the Grims Gem Equipment Wiki.
