EverGrims Werks (EGW). Requires Grims Crops 0.16.2 or later, Paper 26.3 build 194 and Java 25.
- Stop the server and keep a backup of its current GrimsCrops folder.
- Replace the base plugin with
GrimsCrops-0.16.2.jarinplugins/. - Put
GrimsCropsCannabis-0.16.2.jarinplugins/GrimsCrops/extensions/. Replace any older Cannabis jar there. - Update the base Crops Java pack and both Geyser mapping files to 0.16.2, and the Bedrock pack to 0.16.3. The optional Frame
GrimsCropsCannabis-0.16.8.jar in plugins/GrimsCrops/extensions/, then restart. Keep your extension data and settings. This extension update does not require a base plugin, pack, mapping or Fermentation update.Overlay stays at 0.16.0. Cannabis has no separate resource pack. Rebuild the Java resource pack as usual (/pf zip).
- Restart fully.
/gcrops extensions cannabisshould report loaded, with its listeners and greenout command. - Edit
plugins/GrimsCrops/extension-data/cannabis/cannabis-config.ymlif desired, then restart. It is written once;
later runs preserve your file. Crop climate/light/yield settings live in the base crops-config.yml.
Admin: /gcrops seeds includes both strains while the extension is loaded. /gcrops give <player> rolling_station provides a station. /gcrops greenout add, list, and remove <n> manage wake-up locations; all require gcrops.admin. Relocation remains disabled until greenout.relocate.enabled is turned on.
The extension saves stations.yml, stoned.yml and greenout-spots.yml in its own data folder. Preserve these with server backups. Closed cabinets age during downtime; an open cabinet saved during a crash excludes that open span. Removing the extension makes its crops dormant while retaining the base crop records. Reinstall and restart to resume.
Cannabis uses the base Crops resource packs; it has no separate resource pack. The optional Frame Overlay stays at 0.16.0.
For the Dispensary, install the release’s grimsshop/sections/dispensary.yml and grimsshop/shops/dispensary.yml in Grims Shop 0.4.2+ after its first start/import. Follow grimsshop/INSTALL.md, run /shop validate, then /shop reload. All nineteen items use the owner’s 1 buy / 1 sell testing prices. They can be changed in Grims Shop.
In-game acceptance checks
Automated and headless server checks cannot establish client rendering or touch behavior. These checks remain for Java and Bedrock clients before production rollout:
- [ ] Hold a smoke for two seconds; Bedrock spyglass completes exactly one hit and shows tip smoke. If it fails,
change all eight smokable mappings (including packed pipe/Zong variants) to the documented drink fallback and revalidate the pack.
- [ ] Check Doobie, Blunt and Lighter durability bars, Java hold-to-mouth alignment, and the Zong's GUI icon/3D pose on both editions, empty and packed, in each hand and during use.
- [ ] Check trader icons, nameplate, exact-item payments and the rejection of a worn Lighter on both editions.
- [ ] Use the Rolling Station with two players; each grid stays private. Test mobile quick-move and full inventories.
- [ ] Check note-12 station art and all four growth stages of both strains on Java and Bedrock.
- [ ] Under a roof, verify the gauge's dark warning and growth with each approved lamp 2–4 blocks above the crop.
- [ ] Check the 40% climate warning outdoors and normal speed in a registered greenhouse.
- [ ] Verify a continuous blackout without flicker, 30% walking speed, early food/milk exit and restored movement.
- [ ] Check the held-item wisp limit (4–5 visible particles maximum, excluding the exhale).
- [ ] Unload/reload and restart with a trader: offers persist and vanilla's remaining despawn timer resumes.
- [ ] Check anvil/grindstone refusal for a used smoke, Lighter and Watering Pail on both editions.
Lighter use: Doobies and Blunts use a Lighter only for their first completed hit, then stay lit through passing, storage and restarts. Pipes and Zongs still use a Lighter for each hit. A Lighter has 64 uses; interrupted use spends none.
