RealmAdminToolsBP 0.9.5.3-beta
A controller-friendly Realm toolkit suite for admins: terrain editing, mob cleanup, staff tools and player travel through familiar Minecraft items and menus.
Requirements and Updating
- Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50 or newer, with Cheats Enabled.
- Stable Script APIs only:
@minecraft/server1.16.0 and@minecraft/server-ui1.3.0. No experimental world toggles. - Back up your world before installing a beta. Enable only one RealmAdminTools pack.
- This updates 0.9.5.2-beta using its existing pack/module UUIDs, retaining the same dynamic-property ownership. The internal Bedrock version is
[0, 9, 503]; the public version is 0.9.5.3-beta. Future 0.9.5 patches must increment 503, not revert to 5. - Saved Tunnel 10x10x10 selections migrate to 9x9x9. Redecorate sizes are unchanged.
- Original releases are retained separately. This is a local beta build, not an online publication.
Quick Start
Run /tag @s add admin using Minecraft's command permissions. Open an Admin Compass and enable the tools you need in Tool Manager. A once-per-world notice reminds the first available joining player of this command.
Ordinary gameplay remains available when a tool is disabled or not armed. Tool Speed controls the arming delay (0, 10, 30 or 60 ticks) and repeat cooldown. Keeping enabled tools after logout is optional and OFF by default.
| Item | Tool enabled and armed |
|---|---|
| Wooden Axe | Interact: FROM. Crouch-interact: TO. Break attempt: Redecorate. |
| Golden Pickaxe | Interact: add to selected Allow/Protect list. Crouch-interact: remove. Break attempt: Tunnel. |
| Golden Axe | Interact: add to shared Allow list. Crouch-interact: remove. Break attempt: Naturalize. |
| Wooden Pickaxe | INTERACT to Mob-Proof. Breaking stays normal for trimming. |
| Fishing Rod / Mob Selector Tool | Hook: add mob type. Crouch-hook: remove. Break attempt: clean around that block. No missed-cast menu. |
Crouch-interact air with an armed axe or pick opens its settings. Entity Cleaner settings are visible in Admin Compass while that tool is enabled. Selection messages are private; technical names are shown to powerusers/debug admins.
Travel and Permissions
- Any player can use a vanilla compass named
Player Compass, player compassorplayercompass. Unrelated tags do not interfere. - Tag
modpermits the compass named exactlyMods Compass. - Tag
adminpermits all compass roles and the creative-menu Admin Pearl. The custom Admin Compass remains in creative too. - Player and Mod Pearls are not included. Unauthorized compasses are denied, not confiscated.
admin+poweruserexposes advanced controls;uinsaneadds the fastest cooldown controls.admin+uinsane+debugexposes the diagnostic layer, without requiringpoweruser.- No OP detection, author-name whitelist or automatic permission bypass.
- Admin Pearl manages player tags, player-travel availability and dimension/coordinate teleporting. Coordinate fields accept numbers,
~, and offsets such as~-2.5.
Brush Placement
Tunnel sizes are world X x Y x Z: 1x2x1, 3x3x3, 5x3x3, 5x5x5, 9x9x9 and 15x15x15. X/Z are centered on the target, not a corner or quarter-offset. With Feet Lock ON, the bottom is at the normalized feet level and height extends upward. With it OFF, Y is centered on the target, except 1x2x1 starts at the target.
Dirt path is one level below the brush bottom. Its width is a square patch centered under the target. Path/farmland depressions are normalized, including standard player footprint edges; other partial blocks are not indiscriminately rounded upward. Custom even dimensions have one extra block on the positive world axis. Redecorate retains its previous large target-box placement rules.
Tunnel and Naturalize share the visible Allow/Protect lists. There are no hidden Tunnel filler additions. Explicit Tunnel water/lava switches override fluid protection. Redecorate is independent and uses its own FROM/TO selections. Vegetation can be added from the list menu; unavailable identifiers are skipped.
Beta Limits
- Experimental! - Maybe Buggy: ONE shared Undo for Tunnel, Redecorate and Naturalize, not one per tool. Available in each tool's settings. The complete affected box, including path, must fit within 10x10x10.
- Undo restores only changed positions, checks for later conflicting edits, and retains memory on failure. Stay near the saved area when retrying. No-op or larger operations retain the older slot: read the saved tool label before running Undo.
- Undo is session-only and lost on logout/restart. It is NOT a backup of inventories, signs, other block-entity data, entities or physics outside the brush. Use world backups for valuable builds.
- Log/wood orientation remains benched: use Preserve States OFF. Native replacement matches all axes but does not promise to retain them. Other compatible directional states remain best-effort.
- Mob-Proof preserves its carpet, moss, tripwire and floor-button presets. It checks air and common support cases and uses native
setblock ... keep. Suspended tripwire state, unusual support shapes and actual mob-spawning behavior require in-game validation. A custom selected block is not automatically spawn-proof. - Nitwits are identified by the native
nitwittype family, not merelyvillager_v2. Protect Nitwits OFF explicitly allows their cleanup regardless of the entity list; named protection still wins. Players, NPCs, agents and fishing hooks are excluded from cleanup. - Brush work is bounded to 32,768 blocks per operation, including custom settings. Large scripted passes are spread across ticks. Overlapping active brushes are blocked. This is not a guarantee against all lag or conflicts with unrelated addons.
